About us
The Congo Basin Forest
is a large rainforest area in Africa. It is known as the derivation of many lives in Africa. It can be considered the original source of an important ecosystem as well as being a huge source of income for the country where this Congo Basin Forest is located.
However, the Congo Basin Forest is being destroyed on a large scale as days go by. It is estimated that there is a forest area in the Congo Basin destroyed by at least 800,000 hectares per year for various economic and social reasons. This means we are losing forests that absorb Greenhouse Gases for us. In another way, the lungs of the earth are devastated irreversibly.
